'My Take': Stalking Montana Mule Deer

TGIH! Thank God I'm Hunting!  Today we head to Montana's Powder River country for a spot-and-stalk mule deer hunt. I end up stalking within 20 yards of six giant mule deer ... but just because you get in range doesn't everything will go smoothly.

It’s a bummer when it goes down like that. I did the same kinda thing Elk hunting last year. After 3 days of not seeing or hearing any Elk, I busted the same group 3 times on the last day and went home empty handed.
I guess it was a learning experience and I shouldn’t make that mistake again.(I hope)
