For this Tip Tuesday I share a few tips you can use to better prepare yourself for a Western spot-and-stalk bowhunt.

Pretty good advice, out here in Washington the shot opportunities don’t always give you a fair warning. It’s best to try and be as comfortable as possible shooting from many positions. Elk usually like trees so there is some cover but Mule Deer like it wide open… there is only so much you can do behind a sage brush. Practice long shots and get ready to go for a hike.
