This is great and I am looking forward to hearing your reviews on these items. As a hunter who is still working on building up my hunting and outdoor gear inventory on a limited budget, it will be nice to get to see what’s good and what’s not before I pay top dollar for something.

It'll be nice to know what's good and what's not before buying it myself. I think he should give the stuff away once a week instead of once a month.Haha. Did you see all them boxes? Good idea, hopefully it'll save me some money by not buying junk.

This is a great idea! Getting a professional opinion sure beats listening to a salesman who has never hunted but tries to be an expert.

i am pleased to have this opportunity to be apart of this program to better all that get a chance to participate. i know that the list of testers are long and i am willy to be patience to have that chance of helping others to come to right choices on what works for them.I feel as if i am a part of team that matters in helping a group of people that have a common interest in the same love of the sport. To me this is more than getting stuff ( not as if that part is not cool but ) its making a differences for all of us.

This is a real cool idea!! Can't wait to see what's INSIDE THE BOX!! This will be my third year rifle hunting in northern minnesota (grew up in the shotgun only zone southern MN) and have only been able to fill one deer tag with my rifle. Hope to start bow hunting this year!!

akyser 1: I think one of the most ridiculous things I've seen is scent-reducing chewing gum (apple flavored if I recall). Really? I want to kill a big buck, not kiss it!

Should be a great way for us to catch a glimpse into new products. It has been a long time since I've had an item to test and review, so if this gives me new information and another chance to get free gear - I'm all over that.

Gordy, great idea on giving a first impression on all the new products you receive. It would also be great to have some of that loot (even the ridiculous) make it down to those of us who are less fortunate. I'm loving the club as a new life member and I highly value real user opinions (I don't mind writing them myself and take this honor very seriously with painstakingly truthful evaluations) rather than manufacturer marketing hype. Having my undergraduate degree in Marketing, I can tell you that manufacturers try to convince customers that you CAN'T LIVE without their product BUT, the real truth comes out in real user reviews. It's great to hear about products right from a testers mouth. The hunting community spends a good amount of money on gear, and to find out reviews on products good and bad, it helps us not to waste money and what is worth spending!

I agree with you Resident, rather test it myself and see first hand how the product works.

I think it is a good idea that you check out the products, but i bet it is hard to pick one person to send it to. But giving someone the chance try new equipment that they might not be able to get on their own is great

Awesome idea and concept. Being able to see the piece of equipment being handled and seeing what a veteran hunter actually thinks. Cant wait to see what happens.

I'd like to see what's out there that is good hunting gear.
I have a Remington 870 and a rif;le that is older than I am. It is a good rilfe it's a Arisaka type 38 6.5mm Japanese. I just built a tavtical stock for it and reblued it. But it would be nice to have something newer. a rifle or a crosssbo.

Always want to know if something new is any good or not What better way than to ask a fellow sportsman.Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.

as a disabled hunter it would be great to have newer stuff to hunt and fish with cant wait to see some of stuff in the boxes

I just have the basic stuff to go hunting like hunting pants,shirts,and hats, and weapons, that is all I hunt with because I cannot aford to buy any thing else on a fix income. My favor hunting is deer,coon hunting.The reason why I donot go tuckey hunting I donot like the timber rattles snakes,diamond back snakes or the water mussing snake because i cannot afford snake boots, because i am on a fix income. i have never win any thing from nahc and my wife says i am waysome my time and trying to win anything from you'll,and a am starting to think the same way that she is thinking ever on the give away stuff and the click and win stuff. i have been a life time member sent 2-2003, it has been 10years and 2 months that i have not won any thing from nahc.i would like to win clothes ,muzzle loader climbind stands and a cross bow w/scope on it. i use to play the contest every day but know i will play it when i think about it.every time i put in for the stuff to test youall take 50 pts from me and i am trying to get 200pts to see if i can test something big and nice, something i can show my friend that i won on the suffnstuff to test. but known i have to wait to see if my name comes around to test some so i want lose any more points, because i have loss 150 pts and if i had the 150pts and the 82 pts i can be on level 6 and i could my be test something that is high dollar, but all it get is cheap stuff to test and it cost me 50pts.i am sorry this is the way i feel but i am telling you the true,about everything.and i waned to buy the gut knife for 59.99 and i were sirpose to get it but i have not get it yet and i get 10% off of it, but i never came so that is allright because i dont want it any more. thank you again bugman12 P.S. i will keep trying to win something from youall.
