Do you care that this weekend marks my 10-year anniversary with North American Hunter magazine? Probably not. But on the slight chance you do, feel free to keep reading.

Last night at home I spent a few minutes checking out the “In Recognition of Your 10-Year Achievement” award packet from our human resources department. It’s filled with dozens and dozens of similarly valued “Good job, Dave!” awards/gifts. Several of the items are cool, and being the good husband I think I am, I handed the packet over to my wife and said, “You pick the gift.”

No, she didn’t choose the laser rangefinder, golf clubs or mountain bike. She flagged the five-piece luggage set. (Lame ... I know!)

In any case, it got me thinking of memorable—or not so memorable—anniversary gifts, and a quick search of YouTube revealed the humorous video below. While I find much of it pretty funny, my favorite guest is the older gentleman who appears at the 1:40 mark; don’t miss it.

If what he says is true, it’s proof you don’t necessarily get wiser with age.
