Remember inventing games to play as a kid to help pass the time? I suppose much of that creativity is lost on today’s youth (thanks to iPods, iPads and such), but the adults shown in this video still remember what it’s like.

Don’t have a powerful boat to pull a waterskier? No problem. Don’t have a large, crystal-clear lake? No problem. All you really need is a trackhoe and a mudhole.

Something tells me that if I ever get the chance to pursue turkeys or deer near Prosperity, South Carolina, I’ll have to leave a bit of time to give redneck waterskiing a shot.
