Legendary bowhunter Howard Hill (1899-1975) is still considered by many to be the world’s greatest archer, which is easy to understand because he’s the only person to win 196 archery field tournaments in succession.

Via YouTube, you can still watch some of Howard Hill’s hunts, and one of my favorites is when he pursues a man-eating croc. The first time I saw this clip, I figured Howard was building himself a ground blind along the water’s edge, not some make-shift cage to protect his human croc bait. Crazy!
