"Hunger Games," which is now out in theaters, has caused a lot of people to talk about hunting and the act of killing and preparing your own food. In this episode of "My Take," you'll see what I think about this movie and how Hollywood has affected the hunting world.

I don’t know if it will change the years of stigma that has been built up against hunting, but I do think that it will be very effective in getting the younger generation interested in hunting. I would imagine that kids and especially girls will want to try archery or even rifle hunting because the hero of their new favorite movie hunts.
I also think that it is nice that hunting is not pictured as the “last resort” or the ultimate “hard choice” for survival. It is a beneficial, yet fun, past time that everyone can enjoy.
