I am a strong supporter of hunting and conservation. I am also a hunter education instructor in Arizona. I think if more folks in Hollywood and all the P.E.T.A folks put as much time and effort into conservation that we as hunters do I think they would see that we help a lot more than they think.

P.E.T.A. is unfortunately a group of passionate individuals dedicated to the ethical treatment of animals. And if an animal is hurt for any reason, in their opinion its wrong. P.E.T.A. never considers the hunter's side of the issue.

We as hunters are stewards of the land. Our hunting fees support countless programs that actually increase and enhance the environment animals live in. Hunters purchase habitat that face it, without our hunting dollars would go to some housing development or sold off for other opportunities. The dollars we spend on hunting creates jobs, employment opportunities, not to mention boosts local economies where we hunt.

The fact the the Trump brothers enjoy hunting is not the issue with them. The issue is, animals were killed. And that is all P.E.T.A. concerns themselves with. Lets not consider game management programs, and the economic impact to the area made by the Trumphs. Lets not look at the meat from the animals taken, donated to local communities as a benefit. Instead P.E.T.A. is more concerned with the hue and cry of photos showing rich kids, having hunted animals. My hats off to the Trump brothers. They did something they are passionate about, in a legal manner and make no apologies. P.E.T.A. could much further their cause, working with hunters towards issues such as deforestation, habitat loss, and game management. Instead of screaming the sky is falling every time they see an animal harvested.
