'My Take': Giant Colorado Mule Deer Hunt

By: Melissa Bachman

Mar 16

This week I'm headed to Colorado to do an early season velvet mule deer hunt with my bow. As if spot-and-stalk hunting isn't hard enough, I'm also filming myself on this hunt! After 11 days of hard hunting, all the patience and persistence pays off with a 176-inch giant mule deer!

Hey awsome job both the shot as well as the filming. if your ever in NH. let me know won't mind handling the filming duties, of course no muley's up here. Once again great job! P.S. usually alot cooler even in sept.

That first draw was tough, just when you are ready to let it fly it turns and walks behind the other deer that had to be frustrating.
