Video: Blood-Stained Coyotes

I know, I know … this is a bit later than promised—but better late than never, right? (Believe me, my editor is tired of hearing this line, too.) Truth be told, I had some technical difficulties getting the video to work. But as I’ve said before, I’m much more skilled in the woods than I am behind a desk punching keys.

Anyway, enjoy the video of a few fawn-killing coyotes getting what they deserve, AR-style. Three days, 27 coyotes. If this doesn’t get you fired up to be in the woods, you best check your pulse.

Keep your nose to the wind.

Wow, that's cool! I have only shot one coyote so far. I've tried to call them before but no success.....yet. This makes me want to get out there and try again!

Hunter1892: Thanks! Keep with it and good things will happen; I promise. And if this was your first winter to learn to hunt coyotes, don't take it too hard. This winter was a weird one regarding weather and I killed half the coyotes I normally do during the winter months. This trip was exceptional.

Generally speaking: Lack of snow and cold means more food for coyotes, and more food for coyotes means they're less responsive to calls and much harder to hunt.

When are you going to show tips and tactics for hunting eastern coyotes like here in PA? They are difficult to call and we can't usually see them coming from hundreds of yards away.
