That is cool Take. I started hunting about 11 years old .My daught is 12 years old now and she is asked alot of questions about hunting. i want to take her, but My exwife dose not like hunting at all and she dose not want jasmine to go huntinng with me thay socks. So I will just have to wait for my two year old son to get older.then he can go hunting with if he wants to.

the earlier the better, so they can learn alot from it and appreciate all the experience, Just get them out there, Hunting, Fishing or even just camping. It's all great.

Anytime is early enough to get your children involved in hunting. Start them off watching nature videos or carefully selected hunting videos and have them help you package or final prepare your meat for cooking and then work your way back from there. Always make sure you have time to answer their questions and be prepared to answer the most awkward question asked at the worst timing possible- i.e. think about your answers ahead of time.

The key ingredients are a ready mind and to always have time or to take the time required for the child to understand and feel valued when hunting with them. It will keep them coming back and help create good memories of hunting for them to cherish.
