Largest Centerfire Rifle Ever: $40 Per Shot!

By: Dave Maas

Jan 25

Only 12 people have ever shot the .950 JDJ as a rifle. Produced by SSK Industries, only three were ever made.

The one shown in the video below was the first and the lightest, weighing 50 pounds. The bullet weighs 2,400 grains and is pushed by 240 grains of powder. Cost per shot? $40!

The guys from Knight Rifles (i.e. America’s Muzzleloader) are featured in the recoil-ridiculous video, along with Dave Fricke of Millennium Manufacturing.

1st Shooter: Dave Fricke, Millennium Manufacturing
2nd Shooter: Jim Bosserdet, Knight Rifles engineer
3rd Shooter: Logan Early, drummer for Christian band, Calling Glory
4th Shooter: Jones Beene, vice president Knight Rifles

Fire in the hole!
