Ask Jason Aldean A Question, Win A CD

By: Josh Dahlke

Nov 29

I dig Jason Aldean's tunes. He's one of the artists responsible for me opening my arms to country music as of late. Recently I discovered that he's also a hunter, so I figured it would be cool to talk to the chart-topping musician about his career and his love for hunting.

This Friday I'll chat with Aldean, and I want to give a North American Hunting Club Member the opportunity to ask him a question. Submit your questions in the comment box below or on the NAHC Facebook page. I'll choose my favorite and ask Aldean this Friday. The winner's question and Aldean's answer will be published online (and possibly in North American Hunter magazine). The winner will also get a free copy of Aldean's latest hit album, "My Kinda Party."

While you're thinking about what you want to ask him, feel free to rock out to one of his music videos below:

Does he find that hunting a personal escape from the hectic life of a musician, if so what part of hunting is the most tranquil?

It is obvious there is allot of travel involved with being a musician. How do you find time to hunt and how confusing does it get with all the different states regulations? Have you ever had any legal problems transporting your hunting gear across the countryside?

Hi Jason,
I have heard that it is questionable for a hunter to use a 375 H&H to hunt deer. I heard that it knocks them down and does less meat damage than a 270 up to a 300. I would like to hear an opinion from a man that knows a bit about hunting and guns. Thanks

What is your best thing about hunting? Is it the trill of the kill, waiting for that trophy to appear in your sights or just the being in the outdoors...Mine is the enjoyment of the outdoors, no stress just the peace and quiet of natures sounds.. how bout jason?

Jason,
I'm sure we would all like to know about your success stories and the best places you've hunted but lets face it you are a bigger than life Country Music Star, would you mind being a common hunter like most of us and share a funny story of the one that got away. I know I have a few, how about you?
