Good news: DPMS Firearms heroically led the Zombie Hunting Militia and thoroughly defeated the zombies at Outbreak:Omega 4. The zombie bite risk meter is now registering a 0 (zero).
Approximately 800 members of the Zombie Hunting Militia showed up to the Outbreak, armed with AR-15s, handguns, shotguns ... just about any firearm you could imagine. Of course, DPMS AR-15s were among the most popular in the zombie-crushing armament. I also ran into a few members of the good ol' North American Hunting Club. (It's great to know we do our part.)
Thousands of rounds of ammunition were fired. (I know I put more than 200 combined rounds through my Springfield XD .45 ACP and my Remington Versa Max.) Thousands of zombies were dismantled and put to rest in their shallow graves until they decide to rise again.
If nothing changes, it's safe to say we can expect another zombie invasion next year at about the same time. Experts haven't yet forecasted where the invasion will take place, but it's likely the walking dead will strike Ahlman's Gun Range once again.
