With more than 20 unique Zombie Control Stages (i.e. kill zones) at Outbreak:Omega 5, you can bet there were some favorites among the Zombie Hunting Militia.

Few subjects will get a group of bowhunters more engaged than a discussion of where crossbows should fit in to deer hunting seasons.

I'm pleased to report that, after an epic weekend battle, yet another zombie invasion has been contained. Initial estimates show volunteers for the Zombie Hunting Militia at Outbreak:Omega 5 numbered more than 1,000. Multiply that by at least 50-plus spent cartridges per hunter and you can imagine the scope of the firefight. It was intense.

Unlike most other war journalists, I was fully armed and managed to rack up plenty of enemy (zombie) kills. But when I wasn't taking head shots or avoiding zombie bites, I did my part to document the hair-raising events to share with you. Bowfishing for monstrous gator gar looks like a blast. I’ve had my share of bloody, wet, muddy and fish-slimy archery encounters in my home state of Minnesota with 15- to 30-pound carp, but heading south to the Trinity River in Texas for a battle with a creature that can top 200 pounds sounds simply awesome.
